The Production Operator performs the various positions on the production line, as well as, performing general duties involving physical handling of the product, materials, and supplies.  Safely and properly use machines and materials to perform all production tasks.  Follows all process instructions and procedures.  Keep work area clean and organized.  Good communication skills to deliver valuable teamwork.  Able to follow and execute instructions.

Your responsibilities

  • Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
  • Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
  • Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping
  • Operate machinery correctly and maintain it 
  • Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions
  • Attend all safety and production trainings
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
  • Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends

Your qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years’ experience working in production is strongly preferred
  • Flexible schedule and able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
  • Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times
  • Current forklift certification a plus
  • Able to operate large industrial machinery
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
