Acoustic Test Engineer Research & Technology R&T

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct automotive NVH measurements both at part and vehicle levels 
  • Perform benchmarking activities on NVH parts and materials 
  • Produce and present technical reports to document technical results and conclusions 
  • Implement AI-based routines for constant improvement of NVH test practices 
  • Support the design and optimization of vehicle NVH package and technologies 
  • Direct and assist technicians to conduct NVH part prototyping operations 

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in physics, mechanical engineering, or electronic engineering with a specialization in acoustics 
  • You are able to perform vibro-acoustic measurements on vehicles, both in a controlled environment (testbench) and in operating conditions 
  • You are at ease with different NVH test data acquisition software (Testlab, Artemis) and can use them independently 
  • You are familiar with NVH test standards at vehicle and part levels 
  • You are fully conversant with interpretive language tools (VBA, Python or similar) and AI-based routine implementation 
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team 
  • Fluent in English and preferably another language (German, Italian, or French is a plus)
